Community Guidelines

Last updated: February 2026. These guidelines apply to all members of the TNM Nexus platform.

Our Mission

TNM Nexus is the digital home of the Texas Nationalist Movement. Our platform exists to connect, organize, and empower Texans who believe in the cause of Texas independence. These guidelines ensure our community remains a productive, respectful, and safe space for all members.

Expected Conduct

• Respectful Discourse — Disagree on ideas, not on the worth of people. Engage with fellow members respectfully, even when you hold different views on strategy or approach.
• Constructive Participation — Contribute positively to discussions. Share insights, ask questions, and support fellow organizers in their efforts.
• Accurate Information — Share information you believe to be true and cite sources when making claims. Correct mistakes when they are pointed out.
• Privacy Respect — Do not share other members' personal information without their consent. Respect the privacy settings members have chosen.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

The following are not allowed on TNM Nexus and may result in content removal, warnings, suspension, or permanent ban:

• Threats & Violence — Any threats of physical harm, calls for violence, or encouragement of illegal activity.
• Harassment & Bullying — Targeted harassment, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact directed at specific individuals.
• Hate Speech — Content that promotes hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Spam & Manipulation — Unsolicited bulk messages, automated posting, misleading links, or attempts to manipulate engagement metrics.
• Impersonation — Pretending to be another person, organization, or official TNM representative when you are not.
• Inappropriate Content — Sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content that is clearly inappropriate for the platform's purpose.
• Doxxing — Publishing private or identifying information about others without their explicit consent.

Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines are handled through a progressive enforcement system:

1. Warning — A formal notice that specific content or behavior violates our guidelines.
2. Content Removal — Violating content may be hidden or removed.
3. Temporary Suspension — Repeated violations may result in a temporary loss of posting privileges.
4. Permanent Ban — Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.

Severity is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Threats of violence or illegal activity may result in immediate suspension without prior warning.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal through your account settings. Appeals are reviewed by the moderation team and you will be notified of the outcome.

Reporting

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please use the report function available on every post, comment, message, and profile. Reports are confidential — the reported user will not know who filed the report.
